Ancestral Story Conversations
For people holding family stories, fragments, or a pull toward their ancestry and wanting clarity.
People often come to this work because they
- hold pieces of a family story in letters, photos, memories, recordings or questions and don’t know how to bring them together in a way that actually feels meaningful
- feel a pull toward the place their ancestors came from and want to understand what it would mean to visit that land
- feel responsible for preserving family history but feel overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, or unsure what the end result should be
If any of this sounds familiar, I’d like to connect for a conversation.
What This Call Is (and Isn’t)
This is a 45 minute exploratory conversation, not a sales call. We’ll use as much or as little of the time as feels useful.
On the call, we’ll talk about:
- What’s drawing you toward your ancestry right now
- What material you have (stories, letters, photos, recordings, fragments)
- Whether you’re thinking about an ancestral pilgrimage
- What you hope to understand, preserve, or create
- What kind of support would actually be useful to you
You don’t have to have it all figured out - that’s what the conversation is for.
About Me
I’m Katherine Eid Wild, a storyteller and filmmaker working with ancestry, lineage, and creative storymaking.
I’m actively creating a body of work that helps people uncover the deeper meaning in their family history and turn it into something they can pass forward. Conversations like this help guide how that work evolves.
